This beautifully handcrafted enamel switch plate is functional as well as stunning. Ground glass was applied to the metal backing to form the beautiful image on this plate. It was then put into a kiln and fired for four to five minutes at 1200-1300 degrees Fahrenheit. The glass melted, fused to the backing, and acquired a fine, glossy finish. This switch plate may be cleaned with soap and water, which is ideal for kitchens and baths.
